Who should NOT travel here?
If you want beach-front accommodation. Sensei will feel more like an up-country retreat than a beach resort. However, guests at Sensei can also catch the complimentary 15-minute shuttle to Four Season's Lanai (the beach resort) where they also have signing privileges. Best of both worlds!
What can you do here?
Hop on a sunset sail, go on a snorkeling excursion, hike or horseback ride across mountain trails, or tee off at the picturesque Jack Nicklaus-designed Manele golf course.
Visiting one of the private spa hales is a must for any couples trip or spa enthusiast, 1000 sq ft private bungalows with outdoor soaking tub, rainfall shower, infrared sauna, and private garden....dreamy.
How do you get here?
It's a 30-minute flight from Honolulu on Lana'i Air, a fleet of pristine 7-seater jets - see below. There isn't a better greeting in HNL than being whisked directly to this terminal for departure minutes after emerging from Baggage Claim. And there is no greater way to arrive on beautiful Lana'i.
Alternatively, Lana'i is accessible from Maui by a 45-minute ferry that runs several times a week from Lahaina. If coming from the Big Island or Kauai the options are more limited.
